We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customer or former customers to anyone except as provided by law.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you or to process transaction to your accounts. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

What You Can Do To Protect Your Own Personal Information

We also recommend that you take the following precautions to guard against the disclosure and unauthorized use of your account and personal information:

  • Never provide personal information (including full Social Security numbers or account and credit card information) over the phone unless you have initiated the call and know with whom you are speaking or via e-mail;
  • Safeguard ATM, credit and debit cards;
  • Memorize personal identification numbers (PINs) and refrain from writing PINs, Social Security numbers or credit card numbers where they may easily be found;
  • Immediately change pre-assigned PINs to a personally memorized PIN;
  • Do not use easily identifiable numbers such as birth dates, addresses, phone numbers or Social Security numbers when choosing your PIN;
  • Store cancelled checks, new checks and account statements in a safe place;
  • Tear up or shred unused pre-approved credit offers; and
  • Report lost or stolen checks, credit and debit cards immediately.

You may contact the following agencies if you wish to reduce the amount of advertising you receive from companies outside of HomeBank of Arkansas:

  • To have your name removed from all pre-approved credit solicitation lists, you may call the credit reporting industry Pre-screening Opt-Out number at 1-888-5OPTOUT (567-8688).
  • To have your phone number added to the National Do Not Call Registry, you may call 1-888-382-1222 or register on-line at www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall. While this may stop most calls, you may still receive calls from businesses where you are a customer.

In order to determine if you have been a victim of identity theft, you may obtain a free annual credit report on-line at www.annualcreditreport.com. Please contact any HomeBank of Arkansas loan officer for assistance in reviewing your personal credit report.
